Howdy all! I work in the auto industry as a consultant for major automotive manufactures, I’m only 32 but have been in the industry for 14 years. I’ve been lucky enough to travel the entire United States and get opportunities to see some unique, interesting things that I think you would enjoy.
The first thing I wanted to share is a car collection I recently had the opportunity to view. This is at an undisclosed location anything I post about, unless its public I will protect the owners information. If you know this owner please refrain from commenting to protect their anonymity.
They have the largest single collection of Toyota 2000GT in the world, over 5% of the total production.

With a collection like this, the only question I have is this:
Do you know, or could you ask what this individual chose as his daily driver? (Assuming they do in fact drive themselves?)
I recently saw a significantly smaller, but quite impressive collection, and their DD was an X5. It wasn’t their dream DD, which was certainly attainable considering their wealth, but not terribly far off.
I just don’t know how you’d get to a point where you have all of these amazing cars and are left to decide what you’re going to drive every day. That would certainly be a difficult decision, at least I would find it difficult. There’s so much to choose from, but there can only really be one DD...

He is a large Toyota fan - his Daily is a ES lexus.
That said, he has a dedicated tech for this collection and every single one of these cars are driven by the owner. They are not just show peices - while I was there he was driving the 58 drophead.

I started at a dealership doing recon, then moved into sales, then internet manager, then moved into this job which I’ve been with my company for 5 years. So basically alot of hard work and a little luck, right place, right time kinda of deal.

NBR = short for Nurburgring
I believe this is the GT86 racecar he had - I didn’t even notice this until I was going through it today
